The
process
Step 1
 $500
Deposit for lot
*Deposit removes property from market for a period of
2 months during the Pre-Appoval and Design processes.
This deposit is refundable if client chooses not to
build within the 2 month period and there is no outstanding
bill due to the Home Designer.
Step 2
Loan Pre-Approval Process
*Client needs to contact lender within 1 week of property
reservation. A pre-approval letter and good faith estimate
must be acquired before meeting with the Home Designer
to establish a construction budget.
Step 3
Beginning your Home Design
*Attached you will find the Custom Home Planning Criteria
for the Home Designer. Please fill out the form and
a pre-home design meeting with Mission Custom Homes
will be scheduled to review the items.
*After your pre-home design meeting the Home Designer
will contact you to schedule a design appointment or
feel free to contact Roxanne Reyes, with Mission CADD
Partners, at 210.520.3817. Your home plans will take
an estimated 6 weeks to complete. The

Step 4
Meet with the Interior Designer
*Upon the completion of your home design, a meeting
will be scheduled between you and the interior designer
to make custom selections for your new home.
Step 5
Meet with Mission Custom Homes
*A pre-contract meeting will be scheduled to review
selections made with the Interior Designer and any budget
changes that may have occurred between steps 3 and 4.
House contract and cost breakdown will be written for
the construction of your home. A deposit is required
at this time. Homes built in Mission Del Lago require
a $1,000 deposit and homes built outside Mission Del
Lago require a $5,000 deposit. The house contract and
cost breakdown will be submitted to your Lender.
Step 6
Construction of Your Home
*Construction of your home will begin once we have received
approvals and all permits. We will stay in communication
throughout the construction of your home and should
you prefer, meet on a weekly basis to discuss changes
or answer any questions you may have.
Important:
After steps 1-6 are complete any change will incur a
change order fee.
